Israel-Iran: Netanyahu’s New Smoke Screen

Here’s what I think is going on with the Israel-Iran conflict, and it’s just my opinion, after getting a hang of Israel’s pervasive deception and propaganda campaign:

Israel ran into a PR wall with invading Rafah; even our complicit US government denounced the invasion.

But Netanyahu (Bibi) has to keep the war going to avoid facing criminal charges on bribery and fraud, as well as accountability for his war crimes in Gaza.

So, in perfect timing, he kills top Iranian military personnel, in order to provoke Iran into a counter-attack, an escalation.

Iran does so, in a calculated show offorce, intended not to cause any significant damage, knowing that all the drones and missiles launched would be deflected by Israel’s Iron Dome, with likely help from the US, which came to pass.

When Iran retaliates, to save face, Israel plays the victim card again. Even NPR headlines runs the same victim spin: “Israel Weighs its Response to Iran Attack

They ignore that Israel struck first, just like they did in Gaza, so the blame can be on the ones Israel and the US want injured, just like Hamas was unilaterally blamed for attacking first on Oct. 7, conveniently ignoring Israel’s occupation and frequent, murderous raids into Gaza prior to Oct. 7.

As a result, attention is diverted from Gaza, which had hit an approval stalemate.

Now, Netanyahu hopes, war with Iran can act as a cover and justification for also invading Rafah…on the coattails of an attack on Iran.

This way, Bibi gets to finally wage war on Iran (which has backed so many proxy attacks on Israel), creates another chance to drag the US on-board (the US faces a dilemma here because we don’t want an ME spill-over conflict), extend his criminal accountability (just like Trump tries to do), and may now get approval for invading Rafah.

So here we are again with the world encouraging Israel not to retaliate to Iran’s retaliation, just like it encouraged Israel not to invade Rafah.

Similar scenario, different look.

But Netanyahu has ulterior motives, and vows to “exact a price” for the Iranian drone attack.

Thankfully, as of now, the US is vowing not to get involved. We will see if that holds up.

Biden knows his approval ratings are down because of his support of Israel’s atrocities in Gaza, so it’s very possible he holds to it.

We will see what Israel decides.

But it’s no mystery who are the bullies on the block.
